Mahama to host Presidential Media Encounter on September 10

President John Dramani Mahama will on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, host a Presidential Media Encounter at The Presidency.

The event is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m.

According to a statement signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Spokesperson to the President, on Monday, September 8, 2025, the encounter will serve as a platform for President Mahama to engage directly with Ghanaians, through the media, on pressing national issues.

The session will also focus on the government’s “Resetting Ghana Agenda,” along with policies and ongoing projects aimed at driving national development.

Journalists from across the country are expected to participate, with the opportunity to pose direct questions to the President on a wide range of subjects affecting the nation.

The Presidency emphasized that participation will be strictly by accreditation, underscoring the importance of order and coordination for the high-profile engagement.

“The Presidency looks forward to a productive and engaging session with the media,” the statement added.

This will be one of President Mahama’s major interactions with the press since assuming office, and it is expected to generate national interest given the critical issues currently shaping Ghana’s political and economic landscape.
