Police Service to sack all miscreants

Ho, Aug. 30, GNA- Mr Patrick Kwarteng Acheampong, Deputy Inspector-General of Police, in charge of Operations, on Monday warned that miscreants in the Police Service, would be sacked if they were found out.

“The Police Administration will not condone indiscipline of any kind from the personnel of the Service and all acts of indiscipline will be investigated and those found culpable would be dealt with firmly.” Mr Acheampong was addressing the passing out parade of 96 recruits of the Police Service, at Ho Police Training School.

He listed indiscriminate firing of weapons, improper dressing, reckless driving, unauthorised leakage of confidential information, smoking while in uniform, drunkenness, lateness and sleeping on duty, as sanctionable acts.
