Driver dies in accident on Kasoa-Nyanyano road

Gomoa Nyanyano (C/R), Aug. 27, GNA – In less than ten hours after the death of 13 persons and 16 others received various degrees of injures in an accident on the Winneba-Kasoa-Accra road, another accident has occurred near Kasoa, killing one person and injuring seven others. The Kasoa District Police Commander, ASP Charles Adalong told the Ghana News Agency at Gomoa Nyanyano on Friday that at about 1930 hours, on Thursday, a vehicle driven by Kwabena Abransa and another by Edward Bans were involved in an accident on the Kasoa-Nyanyano road, resulting in the death of Abransa.

He said Bans and six others, who got injured were on admission at the Winneba Government Hospital, while the body of Abransa had been deposited at the Ebenezer Memorial Mortuary at Mile 7, near Kasoa. ASP Adalong said Edward Bans, Efua Mensah, Theresa Sam and Esi Akrode were on admission at the Winneba Government Hospital, while Mary Adoma, Adam Iddrisu and Abudulai Razak, who received minor injures were treated and discharged.
