KMA Boss Beats Up Cab Driver

Mr. Kwaku Owusu, a 35 year old taxi driver, in Kumasi, has alleged that the KMA boss, Maxwell Kofi Jumah, and his guards had subjected him to severe beatings, in the full glare of passers-by, resulting in bruises on his lips, without any provocation.

The victim who told the paper in an interview further alleged that the KMA boss was the first to physically assault him when a misunderstanding ensued between him and his guards at Asafo, a suburb in Kumasi.

His story was that, on the day in question, he was held up in traffic at Asafo at about 3.30p.m, when Mr. Jumah?s convoy heading towards the stadium, reached where he was asked to give them way to pass, but disregarded the order, because there was no way he could manoeuvre.

According to him, immediately, Mr. Jumah and his security guards alighted, they rushed on him, and beat him up until some passers-by intervened, and pleaded for his release.
