Finance Ministry Invites Public Input For 2026–2029 Budget

The Ministry of Finance is inviting Ghanaians to share their ideas and recommendations for the upcoming national budget covering 2026–2029.

In a statement issued on Friday, the ministry explained that these contributions will guide the preparation of the Budget Statement and Economic Policy, scheduled to be presented to Parliament by November 15, 2025.

This initiative, according to the ministry, reflects government’s commitment to inclusive and participatory governance, giving citizens, civil society organisations, professional groups, and other stakeholders the opportunity to influence budget planning.

It also acknowledged the valuable input received from business associations, financial institutions, faith-based groups, professional bodies, and the wider public in previous years.
