The Nkoranza North District Chief Executive (DCE), Effah Patrick, has urged newly recruited Community Police Assistants (CPAs) and Fire Service Assistants (FSAs) to exhibit discipline during their training.
The CPAs and FSAs were recruited under the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) to contribute to Ghana’s socio-economic development and reduce unemployment.
The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) is a government initiative aimed at providing employment opportunities for young Ghanaian.
Interacting with over 60 youths, Hon. Patrick emphasized the importance of good behavior and utterances in the discharge of their mandate.
He advised them to avoid actions that could tarnish the image of Nkoranza North, the MP, and the DCE.
In an interview with Fabea FM’s Apiah-Kubi, the DCE highlighted their role in maintaining law and order and the need to comply with the codes and ethics of the Police Service.
Hon. Patrick warned the recruits to desist from drug activities and behave decently, providing specific guidance for male and female recruits. “I warn you, especially the males, to refrain from drug activities and maintain a decent appearance and behavior,” he cautioned.
“Ladies, avoid indulging in relationships during your training period,” he advised.
The DCE’s advice aimed to ensure that the recruits understand the importance of discipline and professionalism in their roles.
He emphasized that their behavior would reflect on themselves, the Nkoranza North District, and the Police Service.
The DCE wished the recruits well and expressed hope for their success in the Police assistance department.
In response, the youths expressed gratitude to the MP and DCE for the opportunity and promised to comply with orders and commands to succeed in their training.
They acknowledged the importance of discipline and professionalism in their roles and pledged to uphold the codes and ethics of the Police Service.
