Farmer found dead at Sefwi Akontombra-Nkwanta

Akontombra-Nkwanta (W/R) August 22, GNA – The decomposed body of Kwadwo Ndiego, a 36-year-old farmer, has been found by a search party in the bush at the outskirts of Akontombra-Nkwanta in the Aowin-Suaman District.

Ndiego was reported missing this month, after leaving his cottage for Akontombra-Nkwanta to buy medicine for his child.

Sakari Allam, an elder brother of the deceased, who told the Ghana News Agency about the death at Akontombra-Nkwanta at the weekend, said he suspected that his brother was murdered.

Allam said the wife of the deceased, Affia kusasi, informed him that her husband went to buy medicine but did not return to the cottage. Allam said he reported the incident to the Police at Dadieso after a search party organised to look for his brother could not find him. He said, a week later, another search party and the Police found the decomposed body of Ndiego at the outskirts of the town.

The body had since been buried after post mortem examination at the Enchi Government hospital, while police investigations continued.
