Ablekuma North Rerun: Suspected Fake Security Personnel Arrested

The Ghana Police Service has arrested several individuals wearing brown uniforms and suspected of impersonating security personnel near the Awoshie DVLA polling station in the Ablekuma North Constituency.

According to Citi News sources, the individuals failed to properly identify themselves when questioned and were taken to the Odorkor Police Station for further investigation.

The suspects were stationed close to the polling center entrance, and their lack of valid identification raised concerns among security officers on duty.

Municipal Chief Executive for Ga West, John Desmond Nii Sowah Nai, who confirmed the arrests noted that the police suspect the individuals are not affiliated with any recognised state security agency. Investigations are ongoing.
