Ghanaian midfielder Musah Mohammed says his experience in the Turkish Super Lig has prepared him to compete in any league in the world.
The 23-year-old was a standout performer for Bodrum FK during their debut season in Turkey’s top flight, making 25 appearances and contributing four assists. Despite the club’s eventual relegation, Mohammed’s performances did not go unnoticed.
Speaking to Joy Sports, the midfielder reflected on the intensity of the league and his readiness for the next step.
“The Turkish Super Lig is one of the most difficult leagues,” Mohammed said. “As you see right now, there’s Leroy Sane, he’s at Galatasaray. So you can see the league has big names and also a lot of experienced players.
“For me to be able to play in the Super Lig, I don’t think I can’t play in any league outside Turkey.”
His confidence is backed by a steady rise through the ranks. Mohammed began his football journey at Ghanaian lower-tier club Bectero before moving to Turkey, where he had trials with giants like Fenerbahce and Besiktas.
He went on to launch his professional career with Ankaraspor, followed by a stint at Eyüpspor. His move to Bodrum last season marked a significant step forward, where he quickly cemented himself as a key player in midfield.
With reports linking him to clubs in both Bulgaria and Turkey, including Bulgarian champions Ludogorets and Super Lig side Göztepe, Mohammed appears poised for a new chapter.
