Ghanaian midfielder Musah Mohammed is preparing to leave Turkish side Bodrum following their relegation from the Super Lig.
The 23-year-old enjoyed an impressive debut season in Turkey’s top flight, making 25 league appearances and registering four assists. Despite his consistent performances, Bodrum were unable to avoid the drop, and Mohammed is now eyeing a move that will keep him in top-tier football.
Sources close to the player say Bulgarian champions Ludogorets have shown strong interest in securing his services. Turkish Super Lig outfit Göztepe are also believed to be monitoring the situation closely, with a decision expected in the coming days as clubs ramp up pre-season preparations.
Mohammed, known for his versatility and composure in midfield, has quickly built a reputation as one of Ghana’s emerging talents abroad.
He began his footballing journey at Ghanaian lower-tier side Bectero before moving to Turkey, where he trialled with top clubs including Fenerbahce and Besiktas. He eventually signed his first professional deal with Ankaraspor, later featuring for Eyüpspor before making a name for himself at Bodrum.
While his current club faces an uncertain future in the second tier, Mohammed appears set for another chapter in top-level European football, a move that could bring him further into the spotlight ahead of Ghana’s next international window.
