Ex-convict found dead

Techiman (B/A) Aug. 17, GNA- Joseph Kofi Yeboah, alias “Morokum”, who was released from prison recently was on Monday found killed with a dead black pregnant goat beside the body.

Yeboah, 33, a carpenter, was suspected to have stolen the goat and was found tied to a concrete electric pole in an uncompleted building at Wangaraline at Techiman.

Superintendent Paul Kojo Gyimpeh, Techiman Municipal Police Commander told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that at about 1330 hours on Sunday, August 15, police had information that someone had been found dead and was tied with a rope to the concrete electric pole, with a dead goat beside the body.

He said the deceased’s parents from Krobo in the municipality identified the body, and was taken to the Wenchi Methodist Hospital for autopsy.

Superintendent Gyimpeh said police were investigating the matter.
