Christian women asked to lead exemplary lives

Prestea (W/R), Aug. 16, GNA – Sister Felicia Sraha, National President of Susana Wesley Mission Association of the Methodist Church (SUWMA), has appealed to Christian women to lead moral lifestyles to help minimise the HIV-AIDS infection rate.

She asked participants at the first Tarkwa Diocesan conference of the Association that opened at Prestea, in the Western Region, at the weekend, to lead lives worthy of emulation to serve as role models. The four-day conference is on the theme: “Growing Christian.” Sister Sraha appealed to women to dress decently, explaining that, one’s appearance is a reflection of her character.

The Right Reverend Sampson Yamoah, Tarkwa Diocesan Bishop, said Christians were bound to face Challenges to empower others to adopt positive attitudes to overcome such encounters.

He asked members of SUWMA to emulate the selfless life of the late Christian Missionary, Susan Wesley, who was named after the Association.
