Aberdeen Snap Up German-Born Ghanaian Star Emmanuel Gyamfi from Schalke

Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen FC have confirmed the signing of highly-rated Ghanaian left-back Emmanuel Gyamfi from Bundesliga club Schalke.

The 20-year-old defender, who was born in Germany, makes the move after a promising loan spell with Dutch side Venlo last season. Gyamfi impressed with 30 appearances and two assists, showcasing his defensive strength and attacking support from the flanks.

Gyamfi’s addition adds depth and energy to Aberdeen’s backline as they prepare for the upcoming season. Known for his pace and tactical awareness, the young full-back is expected to be a key figure in manager Jimmy Thelin’s plans.

The move marks Gyamfi’s first permanent transfer outside of Germany, as he looks to make a name for himself in Scottish football. Aberdeen fans will be eager to see what the dynamic left-back brings to the Granite City.
