PNC elects MP for Ayawaso East Constituency

Accra, Aug. 15, GNA- Delegates of the Ayawaso East Constituency of the Peoples’ National Convention (PNC) on Saturday elected Mr Abdiel Godly Baba Ali, an educationist, unopposed as the parliamentary candidate for the December general elections.

Mr Ali Nuhu Jones, PNC constituency secretary said the executives elected Mr Baba Ali because he had been an assemblyman for two consecutive times and contributed immensely in the electoral area, which is Maamobi East, He said he organises an adult education programme free of charge at Nima West and has set up an NGO, which helps brilliant students to acquire vocational skills.

Mr Baba Ali thanked the constituency executives for the confidence reposed in him and prayed for God’s guidance for peace to prevail before and after the December elections.

He advised his followers to be tolerant in their electioneering campaign for the party to win the seat.
