The minister would address the legislators on how Ghana is safeguarding its citizens who might have fallen victim to the inhumane act which has erupted in the North African nation of Libya.

Libya, since 2011 after the overthrow of their former military leader Muammar Gaddafi following the Arab supremacy has left black Africans in that country living fear.

However, Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa in an interview with Angel FM in Kumasi urged all Africans to stand up in solidarity and speak against the slave trade.

According to him, he has filed an urgent question to the Foreign Affairs Minister to appear before the house to indicate steps government is taking to resolve the national canker.

He also indicated that the minister’s appearance would prevent other Ghanaians from falling victim of the evil-doers, adding that there should be a better surveillance to make sure the Ghanaian border is safe from agents who transport the youths through the Sahara.
