Farmer kills wife over infidelity

A farmer identified as Kwaku Mensah has reportedly gunned down his wife over suspicions of infidelity at Nkwatanang in the Kwahu District of the Eastern region.

The deceased wife, Akosua Gyafo, was shot by his jilted husband Monday Morning after suspicions of infidelity grew stronger when the two returned from a funeral in the area.

According to sources, the suspect was unhappy with the manner his wife was wandering and mingling with men during the funeral.

A disagreement ensued between the two driving the enraged farmer to reach for his gun and fatally shoot his wife to death.

The deceased and the husband had six children and grandchildren.

Boakye Gyan, a resident in the community in an interview with Starr News said the Abetifi Police has arrested the suspect and has conveyed the body to the Morgue.
