Multimedia sacks Afia Pokuaa, Ohemaa Woyeje

Unconfirmed reports have it that management of Multimedia has sacked two of its workers over allegations in connection with the death of Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong aka KABA.

The two top presenters, Afia Pokuaa and Ohemaa Woyeje have been shown the exit for making insensitive comments regarding the death of their colleague.

Afia Pokuaa received a lot flak for stating that the death of KABA was as a result of juju.

In a Facebook post she wrote: “Why do we use juju and evil means to kill each other and undermine each other when we came individually?”.

She further asked “Why? Did God create anyone for anybody? WHY ARE HUMANS THAT EVIL?”

Ohemaa Woyeje on her part also took to Facebook to accuse an unnamed staff for frustrating their departed colleague leading to his death.

“Our hypocrisy is just not cool! I remember when some weeks ago, #KABA told me about one woman from multi tv who frustrated him a lot especially when he was on tv till other other matters…. I saw this same woman on Monday with her legs and waist like mine looking all mourning going up and down just to appear in the cameras and pretending to have lost a loved colleague. Why didn’t she sleep and pop champagne to celebrate news on his demise?

However news coming from the Kokomlemle-based media house seem to suggest that the two outspoken presenters might have lost their jobs as a result of their statements which placed the company in bad light.

A Facebook post by Ohemaa Woyeje also seems to confirm the rumor, that the duo have been kicked out.

She wrote: ” it’s better to lose your job than your life”
