Mahama visits KABA’s widow

Former president John Dramani Mahama on Wednesday, 22 November 2017 visited the widow and family of late multimedia presenter, Kwawo Asare-Baffour Acheampong (KABA) to commiserate with them over their loss.

Before visiting KABA’s house, Mr Mahama stopped over at the office of Multimedia Group to sign a book of condolence opened for the late Asempa FM political talk show host.

The former Ghanaian leader expressed shock at KABA’s death, describing it as a major loss to the state.

Mr Mahama was accompanied by some top National Democratic Congress stalwarts including Greater Accra Regional Chairman Ade Coker and MP Alhaji ABA Fuseini.

KABA died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on Saturday, 18 November 2017 after a short illness.

He was survived by a wife, Valentina Ofori Afriyie of Class91.3FM in Accra and a little daughter.
