Businessman supports Suame constituency of NPP

Kumasi, Aug 7, GNA – Mr Kwadwo Boateng Genfi, a Kumasi-based businessman has donated a two-room office to the newly created Suame constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Kumasi to be used as its offices.

The fully furnished office has also been equipped with a television and a computer and its accessories all costing about 100 million cedis.

Mr Genfi disclosed this when he presented the keys of the rooms to the constituency executives at a delegates congress held in Kumasi on Friday.

Handing over the keys to the constituency executives, he said as a supporter of the party, it was his objective to contribute to its development.

Mr Genfi said he saw the NPP as the most democratic party in the country and appealed to people to give their support to it.

He promised to give the necessary material and financial support to the parliamentary candidate-elect for the constituency, Mr Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, who is also the incumbent Member of Parliament, to ensure the smooth running of the constituency.

Mr Badu Adu Boahen, constituency chairman who received the keys to the offices, thanked the donor for the gesture and appealed to individuals and organisations to emulate the example.
