Walewale PNC chooses parliamentary candidate

Walewale (N/R), Aug. 6, GNA – The Walewale Constituency of the People’s National Convention (PNC) has endorsed Mr Jacob Kanzoni Mbah as its candidate for the December elections.

Mr Mbah, who was unopposed, said education, health, agriculture and infrastructure development had suffered stagnation in the constituency and pledged to work towards resuscitating them.

He said he would use part of the Member of Parliament share of the district Assemblies’ Common Fund (DACF) to sponsor brilliant but needy students in the area if elected.

Mr Mbah said he would institute an inter-party committee and bring people of different political persuasions together and work towards fostering peace, unity and development in the area.
