I will make Accra the cleanest city in Africa – Jospong tells Akufo-Addo

Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong has promised Nana Akufo-Addo that the President’s vision of turning Accra into the cleanest city in Africa is achievable.

He commended the President for creating a Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation to provide dedicated oversight responsibility nationwide on sanitation issues.

He pledged that the Zoomlion Group is ready to partner all the relevant government agencies in diverse ways to help achieve and sustain the set target of making Accra the cleanest city in Africa.

Addressing a gathering of Management and Staff of Accra Compost and Recycling Plant Waste Transfer Station, as well as Chiefs and people of Adjen Kotoku, during the second day of his three-day working tour of the Greater Accra Region, President Akufo-Addo said it is only natural that when you are at the forefront of doing things, you will be the subject of controversy.
