World Vision donates drugs to Ga District Assembly

Amasaman, July 29, GNA – The World Vision Ghana (WVG) has donated some pharmaceutical products to the Ga District Assembly to tackle health problems, especially Buruli Ulcer, which is prevalent in the area.

The items included 150 cartons of surgical gloves, microscope, blood collection tube holders and de-wormers.

The organization also donated 62 pieces of ball pens for schools in the area.

Mr Theodore Afare, Associate Director of the WVG, said the donation was in response to a request made by medical authorities in the district.

Mr Samuel Nii Aryeetey Attoh, District Chief Executive, said, “let me express my deep appreciation for the donation and we look forward to a forge close relationship to solve the acute health problems facing the area”.
