Cripple teacher found dead at Adonkrono

Adonkrono-Kade (E/R), July 28, GNA- A 30-year-old cripple, Kwaku Atovo, who is also a French teacher at Amma Nipaa Preparatory School at Kade in the Kwaebibirem District was on Tuesday morning found dead on the compound of the Adonkrono A.M.E. Zion Junior Secondary School (JSS). Atovo, a native of Togo Bon, was said to have been indisposed for about three days before his death.

He was found dead about 200 metres from his residence in the early hours of Tuesday.

A family spokesman said Atovo, who had recovered from his ill-health was found dead with his wheel-cycle, which he had been using and an empty tin suspected to be that of DDT gamalin 20 resting some metres from where he died.

According to the spokesman, stains of blood were also found on one of his arms and a portion between the shoulder and the neck. When the Kade Police were contacted, District Superintendent of Police Glover Sowah, in charge of the area confirmed the death and said the body, which had no external injuries was sent to the St Dominic Hospital at Akwatia in the Eastern Region for autopsy.
