Ayisi Boateng’s comments divisive – Kwaku Boahene

The Deputy National Democratic Congress’ Director of Communications, Mr. Kwaku Boahene, has described comments made by Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Mr. Ayisi-Boateng as unfortunate and uncalled for and must be condemned by all.

Addressing some members of the Tertiary Students’ Confederacy Network (TESCON) at a ceremony to usher in fresh students of Kumasi Technical University into the network over the weekend, Mr Ayisi-Boateng reportedly said members of the governing NPP and its student wing are his priority in his dealings at his duty post.

Speaking to Kaakyire Ofori Ayim on Atinka AM Drive, Deputy National Democratic Congress’ Director of Communications explained that such comments could go a long way to divide Ghanaians and that per his position, he is supposed to serve Ghana and not NPP.

He pleaded with other politicians to be mindful of their utterances at all times.
