NPP vigilantism: Silence of moralists is tragic – Mahama

Former President John Mahama has described as tragic the recent acts of violence perpetrated by NPP youth groups in the country.

For him, the situation is becoming absurdity in what he says is the passive spectatorship of the moral society over the occurrences.

At least 19 acts of violence spearheaded by the various vigilante groups of the NPP have been recorded since President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo took over from John Mahama.

The recent attack took place in Karaga in the Northern region by a new group known as ‘Burma Camp.’ The irate NPP youth have forced the DCE and the Youth Employment Agency boss of the area out of office.
