Juaso rail lines taken off to permit work on faulty rail routes – Dep. Minister

The Deputy Railway Minister has debunked rumours that the Juaso railway lines in the Ashanti Region have been removed for scraps without any explanation.

The railway ministry has reportedly removed the rail lines in Juaso in the Ashanti Region to permit work on faulty rail lines in the Ashanti Region.

Former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Joseph Yamin in an interview accused the ministry of removing the railway lines from Juaso to Konongo for scrap purposes.

However, Deputy Railway Minister Kwaku Agyenim Boateng debunked the allegations, stressing that the railway lines were removed in other for work to be done on the faulty rails.
