How will fake KB report by Joy FM & Daily Guide reduce fuel prices? – Akamba

The largest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC), has seen various forms of attacks, criticisms and negative reportage by some media houses in the country after the Kwesi Botchway committee put together by the party to examine the causes of its defeat in the 2016 polls, presented its findings to the party.

Some media houses led by the Daily Guide Newspaper and Multimedia’s Joy FM have on many occasions, published what they describe as excerpts of the KB report.

Surprisingly, these reportages alleged to be excerpts of the KB report are always targeted at denigrating the reputations of elements in the NDC known to be close Allies of Former President John Dramani Mahama.

But responding to these reports in a Facebook post, the Deputy National Organizer of the NDC, Mr Joshua Hamidu Akamba expressed worry over such developments and quizzed whether any responsible journalist, will waste time on such cooked reports at the expense of the sufferings of the masses under the Akuffo Addo government?

Mr Akamba said “But for irresponsible journalism, one would expect that media houses will concern themselves with the incessant fuel price hikes, high electricity tariffs, scandalous GH¢ 15 million Google App renamed GhanaPost GPS, family and friends governance and the suffering of the cocoa farmers under this substandard government”.

Joshua Akamba further advised President Akufo-Addo to channel the resources of the state into alleviating the sufferings and hardships of the Ordinary Ghanaian than spending it on Joy FM and Daily Guide newspaper to churn out such cheap propaganda to cover up the rots under his watch
