Kwesi Botchwey report: ‘Let the media excite themselves’ – Koku Anyidoho

Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho, has asked members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to refrain from commenting on the Botchwey report and leave the media to excite themselves.

The Botchwey Committee was set up by the NDC to find out why the party lost the December 7 elections miserably.

Some media houses have also quoted aspects of the report which suggest that the NDC Eastern Regional Chairman, Tawiah Boateng, diverted GHC 1m campaign cash. Some NDC gurus have however cast doubts to it.

Speaking to Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive, Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho explained that the media is trying so hard to get the full copy of the report, asking the leadership of the NDC to ignore such publications.

According to him, the Daily Guide is a paper which cannot publish the failure of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and has resorted to irrelevant attacks on the NDC.

He asked the NPP and the Daily Guide to focus on fulfilling the outrageous promises and prepare to leave office come 2020.
