Inform us when traffic lights go off – Police

Accra, July 22, GNA – The Police Administration on Thursday appealed to the general public to inform the Police Motor and Traffic and Transport Unit (MTTU) when traffic lights go off.

This would make the MTTU post Police Officers to such spots to direct traffic to forestall accidents, according a statement issued in Accra by DSP David Eklu, Director of Police Public Relations. The statement listed telephone numbers that the public should call when traffic lights go off include:

Accra Central MTTU – 662386, 666570 and 664206

Accra West MTTU – 305147

Tesano MTTU – 221322

Nima MTTU – 226191

Tema Regional MTTU – 022-202779

Tema Community 2 – 022-203607

Ashaiman MTTU – 022-306872
