Titus Glover donates to Ghana Police

A Deputy Minister of Transport, Mr. Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, says security is key to the development and progress of every society.

He said this when visiting the Tema Regional Police Command during which he donated one motor bike and 2000 Ghana Cedis (GHC) towards the mobility of the police service.

“It is in the light of the importance of security that I will continue supporting the security agencies including the Police to continue maintaining peace and order in society,” he said.

Mr. Titus-Glover who is also the Member of Parliament for Tema East, Informed the Regional Police hierarchy of his continual support for the Tema Command,He recalled how he initiated a fund in 2002 through the Tema District Council of Labour (TDCL) where members were levied GHC 100.00 each to purchase a Toyota Hiace bus and a set of communication gadgets for use by the Tema Regional Police Command.

The Tema Regional Police Commander, DCOP Mr. George Tuffour, thanked the Deputy Minister for his present and continual support on behalf of the Command.
