Yefri (B/A), July 16, GNA- Mr. Kwabena Agyeman-Badu, Nkoranza District Director of Education has commended Nana Okogyeasuo Osei Bonsu 11, Chief of Yefri in the district for his efforts and initiative towards the establishment of a Senior Secondary School in the town. Nana Osei Bonsu led his people to start constructing a four-classroom block for the commencement of the school project with their own resources.
Mr. Agyemang-Badu described the initiative and efforts of the chief and his people during a working visit to Yefri to inspect the project as a great and laudable foresight towards the development of the community.
Posterity would appreciate and commend such efforts, he said.
The District Director gave assurance that the directorate would offer the needed support to ensure the successful establishment of the school.
Mr. Agyeman-Badu announced that the school would be the third in the district and advised that about 50 students should be enrolled so that they could be effectively managed and handled. Nana Osei Bonsu promised to provide a bus to convey students from neighbouring communities to the school.
