Parliamentary candidate donates TV to NPP office

Mampong (Ash), July 14, GNA – Mr Peter A. Sarkodie, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Asante-Mampong on Monday donated a 16 inch colour television set to the constituency office of the party at Mampong.

It was in replacement of a similar set stolen from the party office a couple of weeks ago.

Speaking at the presentation, Mr Sarkodie thanked members and supporters of the party for giving him their mandate to contest the parliamentary seat, which he said he was sure to win. Mr Kwasi Duruwaa, Constituency Chairman, commended the parliamentary candidate for the donation and promised that it would be taken good care of.

He said Mr Sarkodie’s victory had provided a unifying force for the party’s supporters and gave the assurance that the NPP would capture over 96 percent of votes in this year’s election. 14 Jul 04
