Greater Accra GJA elects new executive

Accra, July 13, GNA – The Greater Accra Regional Branch of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has elected a new executive to man its affairs.

The five- member executive was elected unopposed, GJA Election Officer, Mr Mawusi Afele said.

A statement signed by the General Secretary of GJA, Mr Bright Kwame Blewu on Tuesday named the new members as Mr Gideon Sackitey, GNA, Chairman; Ms. Selina Azu, GNA, Vice Chairman; Mr Ken Noonoo, Evening News, Secretary; Mr Fortune Alimi, Statesman, Assistant Secretary and Mr Michael Donkor, Daily Graphic, Treasurer.
