Twifo-Hemang (C/R) July 13, GNA – The Twifo-Hemang Police have arrested Kobena Mensa Donkor, a 23-year-old Farmer from Twifo Nyame Bekyere, for abducting and defiling a 13 year-old girl from Hemang. The Hemang Police said Donkor kept the girl in his house from June 28 to June 30 and allegedly defiled her.
Mr Peter A.K. Ayirezang, Twifo Praso District Police Commander, told the Ghana News Agency that the parents of the girl did not know the whereabouts of their daughter and reported to the Police and upon a tip off the victim was traced to Donkor’s room at Nyame Bekyere on June 30. He said Donkor managed to ran away but he was later arrested at his hideout.
