Accra (Greater Accra) 29 Oct. ’98 Mr. Peter Kpordugbe, Director of the National Service Secretariat has been fired with immediate effect. No reasons has been given for his dismissal.

A statement issued today and signed by Mr. J.L.M. Amissah, Secretary to the President said Dr. Christine Amoako- Nuamah, Minister for Education, has been directed to take immediate custody of all properties belonging to the National Service Secretariat that are in the possession of Mr. Kpordugbe.

Dr. Amoako-Nuamah, has been further directed to make arrangements for the day-to-day administration of the Secretariat pending the appointment of a new Director, the statement said.
