Nkawie (Ash), July 8, GNA – The death is reported at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Monday of Mr Peter Oduro-Otchere, an Assistant Director of Education in-charge of Kwanfinfi circuit in the Atwima district of Ashanti after a short illness. He was 54.
Mr Oduro-Otchere was the brother-in-law of Mr Afriyie Dartey, the Member of Parliament for Atwima-Mponua constituency. The deceased was also the Returning Officer for Atwima district during the recent voters registration exercise.
He was also the president of Nyinahin Catholic Church parish and a keen sportsman.
Final funeral arrangements would be announced later, a family spokesman said on Thursday.
