Tarkwa circuit court has sentenced a thirty year old man Augustine Afrifa to a total of 20 years imprisonment for defiling an eight year old girl.
The prosecutor ASP Juliana Essel told the Court Presided over by His Lordship Emmanuel Prank Brew that on 8 September 2017 at 4 p.m, Afrifa was caught defiling an eight year old girl at Jedua Asaamang near Wasa Akropong in the Amenfi east district of the western region.
ASP Juliana Essel disclosed that reaching Wasa Akropong government hospital, Dr Adom Boadi confirmed that the girl has been defiled.
On top of this His Lordships Emmanuel Plange Brew sentenced Afrifa to 20years imprisonment with hard Labour.
