Judges Murder has been Politicized – JJ

UNVEILING OF BUSTS OF MURDERED JUDGES, RAWLINGS CRIES INDECENCY! ?THAT?S WHY WE MADE REVOLUTIONARY SQUARE?

Former President Rawlings says he boycotted last Wednesday?s ceremony held at the forecourts of the Supreme Court to immortalize the memory of the three High Court judges who were brutally murdered in 1982 because ?they have politicized this whole thing that it has become indecent.?

Responding to enquiries made by the paper to explain his absence at the ceremony to which he was invited alongside other high profile personalities, Rawling?s Special Aide, Mr Victor Smith said, Mr Rawlings told him in response that everything he wanted to say had been put in the Lens, one of the pro-NDC newspapers last Wednesday.

Mr Smith said the former President said he agrees that the memory of the murdered judges should be immortalized. ?We need to do whatever we did. That is why we did the Revolutionary Square to honour those who died in the course of the revolution.?

He quoted Mr Rawlings as saying that the act of immortalising the memory of murdered judges should be extended to a lot more people. ?The Revolutionary Square was made for this purpose. A lot of people died in the course of the change and must be honoured.?
