Foreign Minister attends AU Executive Council session

Accra, June 29, GNA – Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Foreign Minister on Tuesday left Accra for Addis Ababa to attend the Fifth Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Executive Council.

A statement signed by Mr Michael Ofori-Atta, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry, said the Session to be attended by Foreign Ministers of member states would precede the Third Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of States and Governments from July 6 to July 8. The Third Ordinary Session, it said was expected to elect a new Chairman and also to come up with a strategic vision for the AU. The Foreign Minister, the statement concluded, would return home on July 10. 29 June 04
