(B/A), June 24, GNA- The Asunafo district assembly has provided a new 650 million cedis residence for the District Chief Executive. The project was executed by Messrs Emmanuel Otoo Furniture and Construction Works of Sunyani. Mr. R.R. Oduro, Principal Clerk of Works of AESL commended the contractor a good work done. Mr. George Yaw Boakye, Asunafo DCE, reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to the provision of residential accommodation for staff in the district, saying the policy would be continued till targets were met.
Meanwhile, the DCE has inspected progress of work on the 22 billion cedis Norbekaw Junction-Sankore-Buako road, jointly constructed by Messrs Big Aidoo Construction Company, a Takoradi firm and Vision Construction Limited in Berekum, with funds from the International Development Agency (IDA) of the World Bank. 24 June 04
