Afoko, Kwabena Agyapong, Tarzan, others to be banned 10 years?

Majority caucus of Parliament is proposing an eight to ten-year ban for suspended party executives.

According to the MPs, the executives can only return to the party after serving the ban.

‘We want the amendment of Article 3 that deals with expulsion and forfeiture of membership. The caucus wants affected members to serve 8 and 10 years respectively, before readmitted,’ this was contained in a summary of proposals submitted to NPP members during its annual delegates’ conference in Cape Coast in the Central region on Saturday.

The Party’s former executives such as Chairman Paul Afoko, General Secretary Kwabena Agyapong, Vice National Chairman Sammy Crabbe were suspended over some comments inimical to the party.

One of the leading members of NPP Wereko Brobbey was also suspended for criticising the party.

Other proposals submitted to the party include – The MP or PC shall also appoint all polling stations executives.
