Court issues bench warrant for arrest of Chief and Kingmakers over fraud

A Kasoa Ofaakor circuit court presided over by His Lordship Justice Ebenezer Osei Darko has issued a bench warrant for the immediate arrest of chief Nglegshie Amanfrom, Nii Kwashie Gborlor IV and some of the kingmakers of Amanfrom stool for allegedly defrauding the owner of Abiko Real Estate, Mr. Boakye Yiadom (Koffa) an amount of GHC400,000 in the year 2013.

The court issued the warrant on Monday August 28, 2017 adjourned the case to 8th September, 2017 awaiting the arrest of the suspects including, chief of Nglegshie Amanfrom Nii Kwashie Gborlor IV, Gyase Hene Nii Kwaku Botwe, Abusuapanyin Nii Armah Okine and Queen mother Nana said to be kingmakers.

The owner of Abiko Real Estate explained that, the suspects sold a piece of land amounting to GHC400, 000 which does not belong to them but have refused to refund the money.

They were subsequently dragged before court but failed to make an appearance.
