Bechem (B/A) June 17 GNA – A 28-year-old Kwadwo Braima (alias I don’t know why) of Bechem in the Tano District of Brong-Ahafo on Thursday run amok and hacked to death a seven year old boy.
A police source told Ghana News Agency that Braima was pursuing someone who had insulted him, with a cutlass and when he failed to get the person and was returning home disappointed ,he met the boy, Kwasi Emmanuel and his grandmother, Madam Amma Abebrese, 65.
Without any provocation, Braima used the cutlass to inflict a deep cut on the head of the boy who fell to the ground and when he was rushed to the Bechem government hospital he was pronounced dead on arrival. The case was reported to the police who rushed to the scene where they met Braima lynched by an angry mob.
The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Bechem government mortuary for autopsy.
