A 34-year-old illegal miner has allegedly stabbed his 54-year-old mother to death at Wasa Dadieso in the Western region.
Rainbow Radio’s Sir Joe said the suspect stabbed the mother because she advised him to stop his galamsey activities due to government’ s resolve to halt the activities of illegal miners.
According to Sir Joe, nobody knew what went wrong or the deceased told the suspect which infuriated him to stab her.
The woman he said was rushed to the hospital but could not survive it.
