Catholic cardinal calls on Bawumia

A Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church, Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson, has assured government of the church’s continuous prayers for the country.

Mr Turkson gave the assurance when he paid a courtesy call on the Vice President, Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, at the Flagstaff House on Monday, 21 August 2017.

Dr Bawumia, who shared pictures of the visit on Facebook, disclosed that their discussions were centered on pertinent national development issues.
