Antwi Boasiako to head Minerals Commission

A former managing director of the Great Consolidated Diamond Antwi Adei Boasiako has been appointed the chief executive officer of the Minerals Commission by President Akufo-Addo, StarrFMonline.com has learnt.

He is expected to commence work next week.

He replaces Dr. Toni Aubynn who announced his departure to staff of the Minerals Commission on Monday, August 21.

Mr. Boasiako comes into office with many years of experience in the mining sector having served as Head of HR for West Africa Ashanti Goldfields limited between 2004 and 2005.

He is currently the managing partner of AvidHR solutions, a consultancy firm.
