Kojo Bonsu ‘took away’ his official vehicle – KMA Boss

The Kumasi Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE), Osei Assibey Antwi has told Accra-based Okay Fm that his predecessor, Kojo Bonsu went away with his official vehicle.

“By predecessor went away with his official vehicle. I am told he said he took it from the Presidency and had to return to their pool prior to the exit of the NDC government”, he revealed.

The mayor who was responding to reports he has no official vehicle to operate, said it is part of challenges succeeded at the KMA but observed that once he has offered himself to serve he must find ways of operating by overcoming those problems.

“I have been mandated to function as a mayor and I do not need to be complaining. But getting an official vehicle is in the pipeline”, he stated.

Nonetheless, he said he has vehicles he is using to discharge his official duties indicating that a report about him not having an official vehicle is not entirely true but said he is working tirelessly to overcome the challenges.
