NDC women’s wing holds congress

Cape Coast (Central Region) 11 Oct. 1998 The NDC women’s wing has been urged to team up with its male counterparts to work out strategies to enable the party to recapture the Cape Cost constituency parliamentary seat in the 2000 elections.

Members, supporters and well-wishers of the party have also been chaged to consider the task ahead as a collective responsibility which should not be left to the constituency executive alone.

Mr Samuel Graham Wilberforce, Cape Coast constituency chairman said made the call when he addressed members of the NDC women’s wing at the party’s constituency delegates’ congress at Cape Coast during which new executive officers were elected for a two-year term.

He appealed to every follower of the party in the Cape Coast municipality to help win at least 50 opposition members into the NDC fold before the next general elections, to ensure a landslide victory.
