Nkoranza students learn about computer technology

Nkoranza (B/A), June 11, GNA – Seventeen students and staff of the Nkoranza Methodist Junior Secondary School on Thursday visited Araba Internet Memorial Caf=E9, a computer-training centre at Nkoranza to learn about computer technology.

Mr. Augustine Adu-Donyina, assistant headmaster of the school told Ghana News Agency that, the exercise was to enable the students to develop interest in computer training to be able to face the challenges the technological advancement posed in the world.

He said the school would set aside special periods for the children to learn the programme to make computer-training easier for them at the senior secondary school level.

Mr. Adu-Donyina, on behalf of the staff and students thanked the managing director of the centre, Mr. Samuel Kwame Baffoe, for offering the school free services for the initial exercise in computer training. He described Mr. Baffoe as a concerned citizen who had love for the future leaders of the country and called on other people to emulate him to enhance the development of the communities.

Mr. Prince Owusu Boateng, assistant support staff at the centre introduced the students to what computer and its systems are all about.
