Pognaba Namalteng Danig Sugri I (Pognaba Namalteng) Paramount Queen mother of Setoti Traditional Area, made a donation to the Nsawam Female Prison Saturday, 5th August, 2017 together with Upper East Region (Bolgatanga) West Africa, C.E.O of Dominion Girl Child Education Fund Project, Upper East Region and beyond, as well as with other executives.
The queen mothers made the donation on behalf of the Talensi-Nabdam wing of the National Paramount Queen mothers Association of Ghana.
Pognaba Namalteng Danig Sugri I said that the donation was the second time of its kind and that the Talensi-Nabdam wing of the association upon hearing that there is a project called Efiasi Project has decided to donate to the female prisoners every year.
Upon receiving the 31 bales of second hand clothing, S. C. O. Sarah Kuum on behalf of The Officer in charge D D P Charity Araba Magnuson and Staff of Nsawam Female Prison expressed their gratitude for the kind gesture and appealed to other organizations and associations to help the government to take care of the inmates. She said the inmates are equally grateful and look forward to seeing more kind gestures.
